Privacy Policy
Sustainability matters in the electrical and power industry because reliable systems should not only perform safely, but also support long-term efficiency and responsible operations. 1. Purpose
To protect customer, employee, supplier and business information handled through IEP’s online sales activities.
2. Scope
Applies to personal and business information collected or processed through IEP’s Shopee, Lazada, website, social–commerce channels, customer communications and related records.
3. Collection and Use
IEP shall collect information only for legitimate business, order fulfilment, delivery, payment, customer service, returns, warranty, accounting, fraud prevention and legal/compliance purposes.
- Access shall be limited to authorized personnel who require the information for their duties.
4. Confidentiality and Security
Customer information shall be handled confidentially and protected against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
5. Third-Party Platforms
Where transactions are conducted through Shopee, Lazada or another approved platform, relevant information may be processed through that platform in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy practices.
6. Retention
Records shall be retained only for as long as required for business, contractual, accounting, legal or compliance purposes and then securely disposed of.
7. Data Incidents
Suspected loss, unauthorized disclosure or misuse of personal information shall be reported promptly to Management/HR for investigation and corrective action.
8. Compliance
IEP shall comply with applicable Malaysian privacy and data–protection requirements and shall review this Policy when requirements change.
